I saw a article in the latest issue of Plien Air Magazine on Aaron Schuerr...

Aaron Schuerr is probably my all-time favorite pastel landscape artist he also does amazing oil pieces often larger in size than most artists in plein air! He also does acting among other creative endeavours!
But when I saw this painting in the June 2015 issue of The Pastel Journal I knew I had to try to replicate it! Here is my attempt just about finished. 8"1/2 x 8"1/2 on U-Art 400 using Rembrandt artist pastels and Mount Vision along with some ArtSpectrum artist pastels.
All suggestions and comments welcome...

Thank you, Jay-bird.... I will find a copy and check it out!

I was at Barnes & Noble last week and they had some copies of a UK magazine, "The Art of Pastel." Also a great magazine to check out if you get a chance!

Thank you for sharing. Your copy looks nice.
Never had heard of this artist, so I googled him and wow he's doing amazing paintings.
No wonder he's you all-time favorite pastel landscape artist.
