RobOctober 19, 2018 at 8:52 am #713486Beautiful painting. Like the graceful movement of the water/reflections, and blues and purples in those distant fells.
I know this area well, and my first thought was walking down the long finger on the left at the end of the day, after starting in the morning walking up on the right to the sky line, and following it across your painting.
ArnieOctober 19, 2018 at 5:21 pm #713488Beautiful view, nice handling. I like that dark point (cloud cover?) out into the water. It gives a dramatic, almost mysterious feel to the painting. Gary

Still much to paint and much to learn!
My blog: https://autumnglade.blogspot.com/October 20, 2018 at 1:38 pm #713495Thank you Lucy for your kind comment. Thank you to Rob, glad you like the trees.
Thank you Arnie, you are very kind. Once again, you know the exact place I have painted. I suppose if we seek out beautiful places in the UK it is somewhat inevitable, but a happy coincidence nonetheless!

October 22, 2018 at 10:37 am #713481Wow! One of your best! A pleasure to look at. I particularly like that spot of sunlight hitting the ground on the right! Your treatment of that is spot on.
