Very nice work – great composition leading the eye across & around, great color.

This is lovely Bizzibee – I love the subtle sky and the water looks so refreshing – a very relaxing and calming painting

A very serene, inviting painting. Bravo!

CaliAnn, Derek and Kay thank you too. I very pleased you find it calming/soothing/serene! That makes me happy! Many thanks.

I agree, very peaceful and I love the atmosphere on those distant hills, very nice!

Beautiful painting. I like how you painted the forest just on the other side of the lake.

Beautiful painting. Like the graceful movement of the water/reflections, and blues and purples in those distant fells.
I know this area well, and my first thought was walking down the long finger on the left at the end of the day, after starting in the morning walking up on the right to the sky line, and following it across your painting.

Beautiful view, nice handling. I like that dark point (cloud cover?) out into the water. It gives a dramatic, almost mysterious feel to the painting. Gary

Wonderful water – great blues! – and I love the subtle colors in the distant mountains. It has a peaceful, and yet dramatic, feeling.

Thank you Lucy for your kind comment. Thank you to Rob, glad you like the trees.

Thank you Arnie, you are very kind. Once again, you know the exact place I have painted. I suppose if we seek out beautiful places in the UK it is somewhat inevitable, but a happy coincidence nonetheless!

Gary thank you. I like that you see it as mysterious, where others sense calm.

Thank you Matthew, also, for you kind comment.Peaceful and dramatic is good enough for me! Much appreciated.
