        Went to a Gerhard Richter exhibition recently. His work really resonated with me, I didn’t expect it to. I have been looking at this acrylic on paper for a couple of months. Added some oil pastel last night. Still WIP

            With GR I think its the scale and detail texture that engages the viewer.

            Your work does resonate, I can see that, but its different. There is complexity and a love of the mark making of the media used – which is wonderful.

            As long as there is light, I will paint it.
