actually, I am a watercolourist but love to explore other media. Took once a woodprint weekend class, long ago. Continuing at home failed. Now I heard about the softcut material and wanted to try linocut & printing at home. Here my very first (and maybe too ambitious) work. Water soluble linoprint colours, china paper + an experiment on a failed watercolour on Yupo.
Your advice and critics welcome. All I know I asked Mr. YouTube
I used both Pfeil linocut tools and some japanese woodcut tools I had from the woodcut workshop
carved and inked, my very professional tools waiting
the very first print! Noticed I need to practise the inking, result a bit uneven
printed on a failed watercolour painting on synthetic paper (Yupo). Seems to work technically, might try this again. Needs spray varnish though, because of watercolour on Yupo.
This is exiting!!!!!!!
Thanks for C&C
