Please do join us, absolutely no bar to any level of ability or experience .... even those of us with many years painting still have lots to learn ... and we can as easily learn from a new member as from an ancient one ( like me!!!)

If you need more information, just shout!

In my sleepless hours last night, I did, at least, get ideas for this.... having the time to complete is another matter .... already a week gone!

I was thinking about the fantasy/scifi project, which is chase or being chased, and realized that could fit in with this project as well.

Well, I am not going to paint the gastrointestinal tract. Not that kind of movement.

Seriously, I've had an idea for a painting in the back of my head for a number of years. It would fit this challenge.

Well, why not? ... could be interesting!

Mine also stems from previous ideas for works - I'm at the thumbnail stage!

Re: Different Strokes Challenge, June 2019

Thank you... So, how does everyone take photos of their paintings to post?

I did, well at least the result of the movement through Sea Birds!. Not very good at birds, but I seem to have got the 'Guano' right. (must tell something about my paintings) Interesting fact!! Guano, used to be a full cargo in the old sailing ship days. It was 'mined' on an island off the coast of South America and used as a fertiliser on the farms of Europe, a valuable and important asset.

Depending on the size, the easiest way is to scan in a high resolution then resize to 100dpi and a max side dimension of 800pixels.

Failing that, photo with camera/phone/tablet, crop to painting only (the rest is not important so eliminate it!), resize to a max dimension of 800pixels and 200kb.
Upload as a jpeg.

iPads are often idiosyncratic at loading with WetCanvas and come out disorientated! ..... if I use the iPad camera I then send it to my desktop for editing and uploading.

Scroll down this thread for illustrations! . it's a sticky near the top of the forum page.

12 days to reveal date everyone - *gulp*!!!!!

Really? 12 days? That number is shrinking fast. My idea is still just a vague image in my head.
