Good afternoon everyone - and a very Happy Birthday Kay. Enjoy your trip and the wedding, Ellen.

I just got back from my 2nd bike ride - using a treadmill does not use the muscles necessary to ride a bike! But I will try to do a bit everyday to strengthen my muscles. Betty

Ellen, no, my sister is at Chelsea in Gerrard Street. She has been 'doing' a lot of art galleries and exhibitions. I think she moves on on Sunday.

Uschi, your paintings are just amazing. I hope you get back to it after your eyes settle.

JJ, I thought Tracy had found your little statue in her research.

We had one heck of a thunder clap above the house about 5 am so that's when my day started. John went back to sleep and slept through many more! Deafness has its benefits sometimes lol
At least we didn't lose power.

Friday morning here and it is a holiday weekend (Queen's Birthday).

Good on you Betty! Biking is very enjoyable exercise.

O&O

Off on a coach tour of the Cotswolds tomorrow early so I'll probably be MIA.

Taking my sketchbook but I don't know if I will get a chance to use it.

I tested Ruth's blood pressure earlier and it was normal with a heartbeat of 65 so probably white coat symptom.

Doug, You are right about that White Coat Syndrome. A few months ago, I was trying to get to my appointment on time and hit 3 traffic jams during rush hour. My blood pressure was sky high. At home, especially when I am working on minis, it is very low. Have a wonderful trip!

Got my favorite eye person, and we figured out what was going on. I cannot stand to have the astigmatism corrected in my glasses. And I had to have two separate RXís. Stopped back at Walmart, and they will send them off to be remade. With any luck, I will have them next week.

Tracy, They know that you are good at your job. Take it as a compliment! Glad your meeting went well the other day with your new boss.

We still have not been given an update with regards to Johnís father, but that is nothing new. We are the black sheep of the family, because I just will not allow John to be pushed around by them. In fact, John now stands up for himself.

Have a great evening!

I am so sorry Tracy and a big thank you!! I will pass that on to my friend..

I am off to lunch today with Tania. It is her Birthday, she is 47 today I really can't work out how that happened seeing as I am only 50.

I must go buy her a small cake to take back to work..

Be back later. Thank you again Tracy!!

Re: ****Daily Wash Thursday May 30 2019****

We got in to our hotel by 4:30 and left again by 5:00 to meet everyone for supper. My two sons and Brian and I then had a lovely walk along the waterfront while my DIL put the boys to sleep. We just got in from our evening. An early start in the morning. I have to figure out what time we have to leave hear to pick up my one son and meet the other one for breakfast. After that the boys are going for haircuts while I spend the rest of the day with my future DIL. We meet at city hall at 3:30 for the wedding then to a restaurant for supper after photos. I doubt Iíll get a chance to check in in the morning.

Lulu - the Chelsea is where we usually stay but we switched this time for ease of going to the lake house on Saturday. What a shame. I would have loved to meet her.

I better figure out the times for the morning so I know how early to set the alarm. Iíll take photos to share.
