Gorgeous bird! I had no idea what a ring ouzel was but you've captured it so well. Love the edge play and focus, the way you used the velour to great advantage. It's great for nature scenes! Difficult to get clean hard edges on sometimes so you handled it perfect!

interesting use of close focus/detail/depth with red + black !

Hmm, so we have seen the reference photo. And the painting is...where?

It's awesome. I have no idea how you painted those leaves but the effect is wonderful.
