Tanya WIP - Tanya Complete!

Hi there. Yes I know it's been a long time since I left you here with my last WIP. I DO Thank you all, to have given so much views to it and it doesn't seem you have had enough , so I'm back.
This time I decided to have a try with my little daughter, Tanya. From photograph taken in summer at the floral park. Actualy it's another challenge because of the close portrait, I do not think I master yet.
So let's say... good luck (C&C welcome obviously) and I hope to complete in less time than the previous one.

the paper this time fits portraiture artworks, to me, and it's a PASTELMAT from french brand Clairefontaine. I thought texture looks interesting and picked it up. Hope you'll enjoy this WIP...
(by the way, do not matter the dark shadow on the left, it is a default in my cam lens. sorry!)

Re: Tanya WIP

Hi, I could find some spare time... I had to correct the size of the left eye which looked a bit big, and bring some more contrast because of overall enlightening . I guess it's ok now...

Looks wonderful!! I know it takes experimenting but I have no idea where to start when it comes to colour! Hope I "get it" sooner than later
Thank you for sharing.

Re: Tanya WIP

Hi, thx a lot for your kind coment and C&C are of course welcome. This is my very first portrait with this type of paper which fits nicely this kind of rendering. The texture is amasingly smooth and colors as contrasts shine a lot. But on the other hand, one has to use a very smooth type of pastel otherwise the grip is lost.
I still have a lot to learn with this one. Without mistakes, the final work promesses to be great!! thx for watching...
