Okay. Wikimedia, at least, shows the posted painting as by Pierre Bonnard in 1930.

But it's not included in his listing on wikiart.org.

(in any case, clearly *not* Émile Bernard, an almost exact contemporary, and an associate of Gauguin and Van Gogh)

I love van Gogh too! And I like Monet's paintings a lot too! I also really like a new artist- Claudia Luethi, her paintings are always very beautiful. A few of them even remind me of Moet's work!

JOSEF ALBERS ( love his “homage to the square “ paintings ) & SERGE POLIAKOFF
