Re: Website!

IMHO it would benefit from better site navigation. At the moment it is rather sparse.

Re: Website!

I quite like the simple gallery feel of your presentation. White walls with the art hanging on them. I guess one would call it minimalist.

Re: Website!

Maybe a bit too minimalistic..
Some use thumbnails of their best work on main page, rather than having to click thru a slide show (and no explanation to do so), and a simple menu for those less tech savvy.
You need to think how to make it easy for a non savvy person to navigate but still look classy and non cluttered..
a basic menu - usually on top or on the left..

Re: Website!

Thanks for the advice. The problem is that I need to have two completely separate sections. One for fashion for my job and one with paintings for the galleries. As far as making it look less sparse, I am not a programmer. This is the best I could come up with with the templates available

Re: Website!

Nice and clean website. I had no difficulty with navigation, although I found myself wanting to see your "CV and Resume" without the bother of applying for it. Good luck with promoting your work.

Re: Website!

Thanks for the advice everyone. I just spent the past three days teaching myself to build websites and have totally re-designed the whole thing. I think it is much improved 😊 www.lindsayfackrell.com

Re: Website!

Lindsay, I like your artwork and I don't know anything about Fashion. I think this version of your website is an improvement.
Having said that, my two cents worth is that I think you would be better off to separate the two areas with a website for each.
Regards,
Greg

Re: Website!

Very cool! As a an editor, though, I must point out that on your Artist's Statement page, the correct word is pique your curiosity, not peak.
