Re: Untitled so far!
Thanks Cyndi, a couple of people have said this to me about water. My inspiration come from landscapes, sea, mountains clouds etc. Organic forms of all kinds, so I'm trying to get that feeling across when anyone views my work. All this is new to me, I have been a traditional painter for a little while now (working from photos etc) portraits, cityscapes, but I stumbled upon abstraction quite by accident and I have never felt so good about my art. I feel for the first time I can portray emotion in my work , whereas before I was just copying photos unbeknowns to myself. (If that makes sense). I used to worry about whether people would think it was any good, now the good feeeling I get seems more important.
Colours are something I need to work on. I'm enjoying working with saturated colours at the moment though.
