Re: Guernsey

That's a very pretty Guernsey. This might be a silly question - is Guernsey wool different than a worsted, or other weight of yarn? What's the fiber content?

Re: Guernsey

Hello. Thank you. Guernsey wool is 100 percent wool, a worsted, 5 ply weight. It makes a very warm garment that is hard wearing.

Re: Guernsey

Hello, Jen. I was thinking of posting progress. I致e had a sprained thumb and the arthritis in my wrist has caused problems, but I知 back to knitting a couple of lines a day. Unfortunately, I had to unpick around 5 inches of work because of an error!

Re: Guernsey

Hope your thumb is healing up well and the arthritis gives you a break now so you can do more of what you love. Sorry about the 5" of undo. So frustrating.

Re: Guernsey

Thanks Deb. I did a few lines the other day and found that all right. It痴 a question of getting into a routine of knitting, again.

Re: Guernsey

Yes, and getting back in a way that doesn't stress your hands and wrist. I notice that too when I have not been knitting in a while.

Re: Guernsey

Yes, Jen! I'm taking it slowly. A few lines a day.
