Yes, I like what you've done with the grasses. When I first heard the idea, I was afraid they would simply overwhelm the mood. But you've done them so delicately that they serve a perfect and subtle counterpoint. This is a stunning painting-- and you are right, now it is finished, a keeper for sure. This belongs somewhere important.

Dayle Ann - I'm glad you are pleased with the grasses. That was my point exactly - do the grasses so that they don't take over the painting. Yahooo - this is done!

Kat, I really like your painting! It really catches your eye and is very enjoyable to look at. Sorry I haven't commented before but i have been very sick for three weeks and still am not feeling so good. I think you have a winner with "Golden Afternoon"!
