These 3 Refs. remind me of the Texas Gulf Shoreline around Galveston.
A combo of the Bovine, The Heron, and the beach. Orig.size appx.11×14″ ArtRage Digital Oils.

Note: I interpreted the African Secretary as a Heron, since they look quite the same.

I can so see this one as a poster in a travel agency beckoning us to visit that part of the world. As always the lights and shadows are handled beautifully to tie it all together.
