    working on this big Cougar pastel at the moment for my next big video ;) At this stage it is 99% PanPastel Colors, just a little pastel pencil for bits of the eyes – hope you like it so far a LONG way to go yet

    20 x 14 in on pastelmat.

                        the pans are quicker to block in and you get a smoother finish much easier :)

                                    The cougar is a very special animal in my life. This is phenomenal. You’ve made the cat come alive. It’s just fabulous.

                                    Just started to add some of the 1st detail layer – the darks – this is about 4 hrs so far.

                                    I love how much quicker it is for me to do large artwork like this in pastels – it would have taken me 20 hrs so far with coloured pencils Lol
