15×22 watercolor collage on 140 lb Arches paper; chickens are collage and cut from one failed painting on top of really bad old wooden shack painting to make a new scene. It is meant to be a humorous piece from two ‘dogs’. Moral of the story: Never throw away a bad painting. You can always recycle it or paint on the back side.

Thanks Doug and Cyndi. No, I do not, but we had lots of them on the farm/ranch when I was growing up. My job was to take care of them and I hated it.

I’ll never forget that smell. We had to wash eggs in PineSol and that has its own aroma. Thanks!
