WARNING:Do not try this at home!!!

Was at a Charlie Russell Exhibit in Calgary Alberta Canada this summer and I was overwhelmed by how his worked glowed - it was dazzling and it's over 100 years old. Was that a run on sentence - anyway I have always been a fan of his so here is a tribute if you will to Russell - Big watercolor. Russell's work makes me want to go back to oil.

Deb, you really captured the action in this piece! Charlie Russell and Remington are both so known for their action-packed paintings. They are inspiring, aren't they?

Love this piece! You did a great job with it. I like the angry bear and the movement throughout the piece. Excellent work!

Wow, this has it all - composition, color, action and all exquisitely done.
I am impressed already but even more so when I read it is done in watercolor.
