Portraits are difficult. You seem to model the features in the face ok and that seems to be crucial in portraiture. And I don't know why you think you'd frighten horses, you look a fine artist to me

I think you did wonderfully on painting yourself Alan . I find it hard trying to look in the mirror then painting what i see , then when i look I dont believe what I have painted , its not me its another bloke there .
