Day7...All three sketches are very interesting. I like the quality of your inkwork more in the first of the two mannikens and the hollyhock drawing.

Cem - Thanks, yes I wanted to show the grain effect but overdid that a bit, must have gone lighter.

Val - Thanks, yes the hollyhocks(beautiful flowers) came out well, waiting for the next P&I project.

Blah - Thanks, I agree the second mannikin was botched up, wanted to try the creation of adam by Michael Angelo using the mannikin, but things went wrong with the background hatching.

My last sketch for the month: based on Ladyhawke31726's Pomeranian-Halston.
I have used Staedtler Pigment Liners 0.05, 0.1, 0.3, and Sigma Graphic 1.

Day7; I like your Hollyhocks very much, well done. I stopped doing the leaves on mine because I reached the end of the paper, but I agree with you that they deserved a bit more attention. Thank you for a nice compliment!

Today, I woke up with an urge to explore pen & ink drawing again, having only done a few scrbbles in the past. I remembered Wet Canvas has a dedicated sub forum for the medium, so I trotted on over. Oh great, you have a cool monthly activity. Oh, drats, it's the first of September, haha.

Looks like I just missed this one, but I'm looking forward to joining in this month. Some great work here.

Blah and Hanneke -- Thankyou for your kind words. I LOVE selecting the Photos for the Monthly Project, and I am always nervous incase you don't like them. I am about to post the September Project, so I really do hope you will be happy with what you have to choose from this time.
