In this weekend sketching outside, when there is a devil of hot summer was not that easy. By the way sketching is a practice or an art as you wish, that can be done everywhere. Even underwater with the proper equipment! Underwater, what a fresh idea. So this weekend we stayed in our fresh home instead going around and having the risk in cook ourself in the car.
But I'm not worried to stay at home sketching, in this hot summer, with my wife that has a special status, it's not really a problem to stay and have some happy sketching at home. You know I can sketch everything is in the house and so I did. More, I'm also devoting to a couple of journal and one interesting project with her, so, great!
So I started on saturday to sketch something found in my pocket. Very funny exercise and very important to make because in our pocket we have such funny things... even breadcrumbs! So i dropped my tiny Leatherman pliers and my keys. Funny and I passed some funny time, because the details of the teeth of the keys.
Then in the meantime I did a small set. I mean a like photographic set and I made to my self a tea, there's nothing bad to prepare a setup for sketching. I dressed all the small table in front of the window and so I had a nice afternoon tea. After drinking the tea I dressed again as the first moment and et voilà this small sketching of the tea in the afternoon moment.
But since also her loves in making drawings, sketching, journaling and putting colors on paper I was glad sketch her also. Since long one of my favorite subjects so far...

So after some sunday sketching a sunday of making a lot of funny and creative things, and this one, after lunch, as a coffee. In fact I sketched my coffee machine and all the jars close to it. But I was in a strange and lazy place so everything, following my mad perspective is... something like you can see now.
Now, this evening I will be sketching too, so just to not forget what I love to do. In the evening I do more like journaling as a recap of the day or to collect all the thoughts of the day. I don't know why but now I prefer the calm of the evening to make journaling.
