Carved entirely by hand (with the exception of the mouth and area around the glass eyes, dremel used there), from a single piece of re-claimed Red Oak. The scales were burned in using three hand crafted burning tools and the piece was stained with two oak shades. The fangs had to be carved seperate and imbeded into the upper jaw as I broke the first attempt to make them while forming the mouth. The monogram was hand painted with acrylic and I finished it with three coats of polyurithane (please forgive a novice carver for that.)
