I think superheroes/villians are accepted in this forum? Cross post from drawing forum. Copied from a DVD cover. I was hoping to practice shading and foreshortening. The other versions were all terrible. Never got much feedback in the drawing forum, even after I made corrections. Anyway I hope this one came out slightly better. Played around with graphite and water soluble graphite.
The Venom one was a doodle copied from a tin at a toy shop (it very slow day:lol:) and washed later. (The mark Venom’s hand was an accident:o)March 20, 2018 at 9:59 am #588208March 20, 2018 at 10:04 am #588205I like the foreshortening of the superman one and the city in the background with the sweep (that’s cool).
Venom looks good in form and proportions.
For C&C making a stronger contrast on the light and dark parts of the figure would make it pop more.

My DeviantArt GalleryMarch 20, 2018 at 10:44 am #588209Thanks for looking at these! Used a Nero pencil to sharpen the shadows. Might add more, especially to Superman.
