I used my own artwork to create digital images, using collage like techniques.
From memory there are 6+ Images used here. I am trying to explore the subject, tired shift worker, in more abstract way.

@jenniferpaints http://jrcs.com.au/artistJune 18, 2018 at 9:54 pm #642853It does work well…. so do I understand that you are using your natural material art work, cut and pasted into a digital image? There’s just so many things we can do with digital art!
June 20, 2018 at 2:27 am #642859I have imported digital images of my physical work. So rather than cut and paste I have edited in Photoshop to create the new image by showing, editing and removing sections.

@jenniferpaints http://jrcs.com.au/artistJune 20, 2018 at 5:52 pm #642854Cool concept and execution! That pattern on the left competes with the eyes, IMHO, but I very much like what you’ve done here.

@jenniferpaints http://jrcs.com.au/artistJune 27, 2018 at 7:11 pm #642865Beautiful…Just beautiful! I love how abstract yet connected it all is. It looks like a piece I’d see in an art museum.

I hope some Aussie artists agree with you
I have just submitted it to the Aust Govt ‘ArtBank’ organization, on their yearly rural excursion. I hope to get selected for a personal interview, with the option of the Govt purchasing it.

@jenniferpaints http://jrcs.com.au/artistJuly 3, 2018 at 8:13 pm #642856This is a wonderful example of imagery for using your own artwork as material for the painting.
July 7, 2018 at 6:57 am #642862Thanks Willowshades. I was a bit unsure of it, but am enjoying it.
I have just done this. My photo and sketch of the building on some research I made when researching the architect.
I think I need a lot more confidence to try to creat complex painted images.
sorry for the book. I do like to chat.

@jenniferpaints http://jrcs.com.au/artistJuly 9, 2018 at 8:19 pm #642857I have imported some of my physical paintings and altered them or used them as a guide. I would like to know more about how you do your work. I generally work in Procreate. Your work is very nice.

November 9, 2019 at 6:24 pm #642863Help floblue, I’m looking over some of my posts and noticed I didn’t reply to your comment. If you are still creating digital I’d like to discuss how we do what we do.

@jenniferpaints http://jrcs.com.au/artistNovember 15, 2019 at 6:21 am #642866I like how you’ve layered your work – I think it works pretty well. If it were mine I’d play with tweaking the composition – perhaps softening the strong white line of the shoulder on the right – it tends to draw the eye…but that’s a quibble. Nice work!
November 18, 2019 at 3:16 am #642864Thanks Helen. Appreciate your thoughts.
