I did a colour pencil artwork of a picture I found in the Artist's Magazine Limited Edition Calendar 2000. I loved the picture and did it as a challenge with another friend. We both did it in coloured pencils. I then gave mine to a friend as a Christmas present. This week the Ontario Deaf Foundation has asked me for a few of my artwork that they could use as a fundraiser in their calendar. I gave them 3 of my artworks - one of them was the Little Dabbler I did back in 2000 - whew where has the time gone!! I recalled that it was not my original idea but one I loved and copied. The original was done in oil painting by Carolyn Damaris Gerhadt. I would love to get in touch with her and see if I could allow them to use it as a fundraiser. It will not be a huge fundraiser. I need to know if its ok for me to do this. It would really help me if I could get in touch with Carolyn. Is there anyone out there who can help me? or give me advice? Thanks Helen

I suggest you contact Artists magazine for consent or contact with the originator.

Maybe I just do not have the right department? I would love to get in touch with the originator, but have had no luck in finding her. I will keep trying. Thanks Helen
