May 1, 2019 at 10:24 am #472681Welcome to the MAY Plant Parade
I’m Lil (ArtsyMom) and I’ll be your host for May.
I’ve picked a variety of flowers for you to paint and hope that you’ll join in. Some of these are from my photos so feel free to do or you may add one if you like. The reveal date is MAY 25th, so you have time to create something lovely from these flowers.LIL

May 1, 2019 at 1:54 pm #822114Thanks for hosting Lil. Some lovely purples here Not sure which one I’ll choose. This month my goal is to try to paint looser, or try something a little different in style.

Nice shades of purple and pink. I enjoy looking at them, for now. But these are very sweet flowers.

Purple flowers might be a challenge (yellow flowers are my nemesis … purple might be a close second…)-- EP Moderator for:

May 6, 2019 at 9:54 am #822119Thank you EP and Margaretta for joining in. We sure have had plenty of rain here in the US for all these lovely flowers to bloom. Although it’s May, we still are getting plenty of more rain. Hoping this system moves out and lets us enjoy sunny days again.

May 6, 2019 at 6:19 pm #822148Some lovely pink and purples flowers here Lil, thanks for hosting.
I bought a hot pink watercolour over the weekend for a piece I’m working on, seems it would work well for the last reference.
