Clearing in the woods

Another one in the Botanic Garden. This was in a very bright day and this helped me to make this linocut.
The size 24 x 18 cms.
Is that OK?

Re: Clearing in the woods

I love this one, John. I can see how the bright day helped to give you lots of defined light and dark. I love the pools of sun and shadow on the ground, and the solid massive feel of the foreground tree. I especially like the way you cut the lines for that tree down towards the bottom of the trunk. The whole thing is very strong. Really nice one!

Very nice contrasts! It makes for a very strong print.
