Angela, smudged-blue, & nelvia: Thanks for taking time to comment.
I used one of the blue polys (forgot which one) to start out the hat. Then the black poly in the dark areas, followed by prismacolor indigo blue over the black. I used mostly prismas on her hair, but so many colors its ridiculous. Probably more than necessary, but it takes me lots of trial & error to try & get it the right color. Thanks again!
