If that makes any sense is it possible for you to alter this piece?
Other than that it is an excellent piece.

So far I LOVE CP! It seems I can complete a piece much faster than when I paint in acrylic or watercolor, or even graphite pencil. This particular piece is 9X12 and I use Prismacolor Premier. I also used a little baby oil on a Q-tip to achieve a painted look but have gone to mineral spirits which I prefer. I used, I think, all the blues Prismacolor makes

and I very much agree with you on the positions of their beaks, and so appreciate your advice, thank you! As far as altering the piece, I used fixative already and afraid to try to make corrections at this point. Oh, I used Strathomore Bristol, but I turn the paper over to the most smooth I can get. Since I'm so new at this I would love to know what the best paper, and pencils there are out there. I bought some large black and white sheets of Stonehenge and then I cut them into 4 sheets, (get the most for the money) since I really don't think I'll ever draw anything that large.
Again, thank you so much for your comments
