Hi, I really love the colours of the water. I agree with Ros about the blossom branch competing with the heron. A beautiful, serene moment has been captured here.

Agreed that the branch of blossoms overpowers the heron. It's being oil pastels, I'm not sure I want to mess with it for fear of messing it up.

Very nice mood in this Hal - and my only suggestion would be to make the blossom less condensed - but if you can't take it out, then leave it - it's still a nice painting
