12×9 watercolor of the other white meat in its daffodil environment, a whimsical work that usually gets me smiling. Usually after doing a tight realistic painting I will do a fun one such as this imaginary scene on Strathmore paper. I used Daniel Smith paints. As a farm animal, I hope she fits in this forum

March 16, 2018 at 12:58 pm #585537Sausage Patty sure does fit here! She’s so cute and funny, Kay. I love this painting. It brings to mind Charlotte’s Web, one of my favorite childhood cartoons. It’s so happy and warm and just fun. Excellent work!

I just push the paint around while the painting pushes me.March 17, 2018 at 10:24 am #585542Simply brilliant – lovely watercolour technique.
As an aside: I think she must stay Patty and never become Sausage.
As long as there is light, I will paint it.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in, broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, WOW, What a ride! Anonymous -MRSBB (Lenore)
