Hey all! I’ve finally gotten out of my slump! When in a slump I go back to peppers and pears and stuff. It keeps me painting but doesn’t scare me. (Don’t ask). This is a 12×12 done in pastels. Thanks for looking and all comments and critiques are gratefully accepted.

September 14, 2019 at 12:28 am #879349I like the sketchy freedom of the execution and the colors. Very Nice.

September 15, 2019 at 7:02 pm #879347I love the floral chaos in that field! Poppies galore, other purple flowers complimenting them, grasses, rocks, and gnarled trees, too! Interesting use of a very pale and neutral sky color. Not only does it show how one can still find beauty on overcast days, but it keeps the focus of the color in the field and not on a blazing blue sky. Nicely done!
