Couldn't find the date.

Mueller died in 1930, so never saw what happened to his artwork under the Nazi thugs.

That's it, of course. There's a variety of titles given to this work; most common seems to be "Young Girl with Heads of Men". I hadn't run into "Gypsy Girl", which is interesting as Mueller had the nickname "Gypsy Mueller" and was known for painting Gypsy women, another thing which probably didn't endear him to the Nazis.

While looking for it I came across the info that Mueller's mother was a gypsy. If so, then just about everyone on Mueller's mother's side would have been shipped off to the gas chambers during the war.
