I have just returned to Wet Canvas after a 3 year gap. I have been still painting though.
I love wet into wet and this was supposed to be an emulation of the way Jean Haines paints her roses, but I couldn’t leave them half mistily done as Jean paints hers, so this is my interpretation.
Done on Bockingford 300gms and Sennielier watercolour paints. Lifted out the petals with 1/4″ Sapphire angled shader brush by Daler Rowney.
