Originally drew this Kalinin K-7 several years ago. Russian design from the 30’s. The wingspan was 174 feet, could carry 120 passengers in it’s civilian form. They sat in the 7 1/2 foot deep wings. The planes had structural problems though.
What a monster…very detailed work though Gray.
As John says – superb detail Gray , good work on the metal finish. Looks a bit like three Armstrong Whitworth Whitleys squashed together
A lovely piece of work on a most strange and ugly aircraft.
Thanks John, Neil, Trumper. It was a monster for it’s time.
There is a heck of a lot of work in that one … 10/10
Cheers, Gollum.
Great work showing the massive scale of this machine. You really get a good idea of the size of that wing and the multiple engines.
