Did this from one of my photos in acrylic with an idea of doing of trying it in oils one day.The Spitfire is about 4 inches wide and long.

Yep – I agree with Jim – a bit bigger with the Spit . Colours look good .
Shows the wing shape nicely, Trumper.
Looks great – a larger version in oil or acrylic will be nice to see.

I like the depth of the shadow on this, make sure the highlights are just as bright and it will really pop!

Interesting piece. Really shows the graceful shape of the Spitfire well. I don’t think you really need the clouds below. it would stand well on it’s own – the Spitfire has such a strong form.
