Nicely done, Derek!

When I see your painting of the three cars, and the size of it...
and hear about your sore shoulder,
it makes me think of why someone would challenge themselves to paint such
intricate and hard-to-render things like chrome and car grills,
such painfully difficult subject matter...

Could it be genetic?

Are you related to Alan in O.C.?

Hey Sketch: though on opposite coasts, Alan and I are pretty good buds.
Each time I try to get more painterly, the realist gremlins attack. Though I have done some loose works, my default seems to be realism. Thanks much.
