This is watercolor on canvas! The original painting bombed so I washed off the image and because of the staining colors that remained…turned it up side down. The church, buildings and figures were drawn freely according to the former painting….

This is beautiful! Wondrous colors and composition. And I LOVE the story of you washing the canvas, turning it upside down and starting over. I can see the brown of the church at the very bottom/left, but it now looks like a reflection.

I haven’t posted in quite sometime due to life! I always have several things going on in the studio….some are worthy of one more stroke…others are questionable.
