felt drawn to paint this...seemed an interesting composition with a differering perspective..has also given me some more practice with figures

Hi Christine. Very colourful work and it does have a carefree tropical feel to it. The top picture is not angled well to get a clear perspective and the bottom one is a little blurred. Something with the feet of the cute little munchkin in the stripes seems a bit off or his shorts maybe? I realise the perspective is looking down onto the subjects so I may be off the mark here , and I feel that the other child somehow needs a hint of a leg? I'm no expert at portrait or figure work, so just a first "things that jumped out at me" opinion from me. Colours are lovely Christine! Very cute subject and interesting perspective! Good on you for this effort, Nice job. Cheers Debs. =))

thanks Debs for your feed-back....i agree the feet need some improvements,the right foot is supposed to be extendedwith the toes going into the sand....think i need to rethink the anatomy to get that right.....Christine

i have made some changes to the shorts and feet hopefully they have improved somewhat....what else can i do to improve this piece of work?All feed-back welcome,good or bad ...many thanks Christine
