    I love lino printing but I have rheumatism so I don’t have the greatest hand control (it’s fine I’m not complaining, just letting you know why some of lines are wobbly) I enjoy it still.

    I did these mini lino cuts, 3×4 inches and decided to use up some colored art paper on the dorkybird. It held the ink fairly well and I’m happy with the results.

    There’s two colors of ink here, I wanted the ground darker.

    Ok I really like the subject matter, landscape and still life. Yes there is a crude handling, but that’s your personal touch. Your style really reminds me of Gustave Klimt in terms of your framed edge and flat embellished ground to figure contrast. I think you might have some fun opening up your compositions to additive water colors, not necessarily as a finished image but more as an aid to work toward much more complex compositions, but always retaining your clear subject matter, it’s a figure ground thing you have going on…
