Re: Scavenger Hunt#526 -- Jan 7-15, 2018

Jo - Love the lake sketch. Looks so relaxing.

Robin - Really nice leaves and petals. I keep looking at blowups to see your hatching technique.

Scatty - Kewl bone! Reminds me I have a box of animal skulls buried in my art closet. Great shading on cherubs!

Stephane - The dead rose is neat but really like how you did the cut crystal on the vase. But it is the statue that keeps pulling me back. Excellent! Re your comment to Jeroen: Go for all three.

Jeanne! You could always get back into art by doing the Hunts.

Jeroen - Do we get some of the soup too? Excellent work as always.

I posted tomorrow’s Hunt #527 a little early as I have a busy day tomorrow and a bit back ended up posting days late when life got busy.

Keep sketching
Joe

Re: Scavenger Hunt#526 -- Jan 7-15, 2018

Thanks, all.

Robin, I like the leaves and little flower. Nice and the pink paper!

Scatty, what a sculpture! (the bone) Good work. Awww, sweet cherubs. Nicely done.

stephanie, lovely flower and supper hatching on the vase. Wow, on your sculpture. Woot!

J, happy you are doing some art. I look forward to seeing what you are working on.

Jeroen, oh, yummy for sure. Many goodies and items there. Love your order of things!

Last one for me in the big book with a Micron 005

Number 10 related to exercise and 11 pot (s)

Re: Scavenger Hunt#526 -- Jan 7-15, 2018

I miss a few days and look at the amazing work you all posted!

EP - yum on the broccoli. I eat a lot of it...glad I don't get tired of it. Love that super-sized spatula! Great items from your kitchen.

Jo - Thank you. I have fun with the continuous lines and they make me really look carefully at shapes. Nice apple and grinder. You found some interesting spots to sketch...the doctor's office and the wine bar..nice! Good landscape/waterscape.

Joe - I have to say I never made the walnut ink myself. I'd rather eat them. lol

Kat - Thanks. Pretty cup and cookie cutters. That bone looks like an airplane. Wow! Cute cherubs too.

Stephanie - I like your bottle and glass...could use a sip right now. Your dried flower looks so delicate.

Robin - Thank you. Fun to see all your sketch items around the sink! Good catch on the leaf and flower. I don't know if we have anything left flowering here.

Jeroen - Wonderful neat sketch!

Jeanne -

I was in the city today at the Frick Collection which had a garden court with this lovely item that fits the hunt and some sculpture too.

10 - fountain - watercolors and ink
11 - sculpture (on the table) - watercolors and ink

Ai, thanks for this Hunt! Pretty much made my average.....

Joan, I'm not surprised that you found the fountain and the sculpture. I love the sculpture in the gallery and people around....

Hi Scatty.

See all y'all on the next Hunt.
