    Today’s plein air effort. Feel I’m having more success.
    11” x 14”, oils on panel
    Today it was dealing with wind. :eek: After about 4 hrs I had to call it almost finished. Made about 1/2 hr of tweaks in the studio to finish some detail ( lamp posts and shadow adjustments).

        Nice accurate drawing for plein air. Love the sense of strong light accentuated by the strong shadow under that bridge. good control of values!

        I really like this Patrick. That shadowy red on the bridge is such a nice color to go with those bright greens in the sunshine. Gary

        Thanks Gary. Glad you like it. The bridge metal is rusty, and then painted rust color. I guess I matched the rust color. Not sure if I should have left out the rust stain on the concrete.
