Hi all,

I’ve just finished this needle felted portrait of my dog Woodley using mostly Merino wool with a little bit of Corriedale wool as well, felted on 100% wool felt. I really enjoyed doing this so I’ll be doing more pet portraits I think.

Wow that is amazing.
It is using the felting process and look to its maximum.

I have often wanted to try it but my allergies would object strenuously. At the last doll/fibre weekend I went to they had a felting machine we could try. It looks like a sewing machine but with felting needles instead. Sadly I had to pass it up.
