Does Loose, Expressionistic "Gestural" Stuff Sell Online?
I'm new to the online P.O.D. world....currently just setting up a Zazzle store with everything hidden until I've gathered enough saavy lurking about to at least open it up without any glaring dumb moves. My main store will be at least semi-realist and figurative as far as subject matter goes. It occurred to me that perhaps setting up a second store with all sorts of images that could be best described as "studies" (loose gestural drawings mostly out of sketchbooks and newsprint pads.....the best of the bunch that "sing" but, nonetheless are characterized by hit or miss mark making and all manner of "finding lines", stray marks, etc etc.) Have any of you ever seen anything like that "work" on Zazzle or the like or is the online world pretty much the private realm of the slick/tightly controlled image? I know the concept of "research it for yourself and let us know what you find out" probably applies heavily here but I'd benefit very much from hearing anyone's experiences, opinions relative to this...
Thanks in advance.
