Image won't upload

I have tried everything! The size is only 221kb and within the correct parameters for height and width. I have tried to number it, i.e. 7.jpg as previously suggested in another forum; renaming to "title.jpg"; reducing from 96 to 72 res. ???? I have done what I always do in Photoshop and never had this happen. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hmm, usually it's the filename.

Did you try and attach it?

Well, the uploader is preferred as you can scroll down when you reply and see the painting, however to attach, scroll down below the reply box and you will see "Manage Attachments" where you have a different uploader. Pictures appear at the end of your post.

Thanks again Doug. It finally loaded. Does the site just get too busy sometimes? I did all you suggested when I got the error messages. Worked just fine today.

Yes, the site does have its moments, particularly with the RIL uploader and the avatar uploader. The normal uploader hasn't been giving trouble of late.
