Shades of Green

Acrylic on Water color paper around 6x9" , sun rays are a little stark but I like it as an illustration

Why don't you try another painting of the same, using a graduated color for the beams of light. the white/grey doesn't quite work for me with the spring green.
Also, most of the leaves hit by the beam don't seem to be very affected.
The tree and leaves are very nicely done.
