Fallen log in upper valley

Oil painting on canvas, 50x60 cm. One of the most beautiful landscapes in the Swiss alps. In front a meadow with a fallen log and some stones, in the midground an upper valley, in the background mountains above 3000 m, surrounded by glaciers.

Oh! I like the higher value greens on the near mountains! The orange hues on the log really give the look of a sunset or bright sun! The bright hues around the log are nice too. Lots of detail and I like your use of grays on the mountains sides...very nice.
