This painting was made with Sennelier, Daniel Smith, and Schmincke brand watercolors on Arches Cold Press Watercolor paper. The main focus of this painting was for me to work better on lighting and depth. Hope you guys like it!

I think its pretty well done, maybe the colors that surround her are a little too pure? just thinken that they distract a bit from the angel ,,,for my taste its a bit of a weird mixture of religiousness and sensuality ,but I;m not judging that,,, the hair is very well done and there is an appealing softness overall

Thanks for the input on the colors. I was going for a stark contrast of vibrant background to a muted figure but I suppose It needed a different approach. I didn’t intend anything sensual in the sleeping figure but that is an interesting perspective on it.

After I posted I thought realized that could have been my own projection, but I do blurt out my thoughts to fast sometimes,,, I am barley used to living in society

Beautiful, well-proportioned figure, Sadie. Magnificent skin.

A beautiful concept, maybe soften the shadow?

I thought the same thing as well after it was already done, My reference was in black and white at a high contrast so it was difficult to be able to tell if I was going to dark.
