20th International CPSA Exhibition

For those of you that plan on entering the CPSA Exhibition, you should know that the rules for formatting your entries have changed. The CAFE website now only requires that you have 1920 pixels on the longest side (so no more all square entries) and it doesn't require the black "masking" anymore (Yay!). You have until March 31st to enter and since I just finished entering my piece, I thought I'd show it to you. The title is "The Sovereign's Sport". It's an American Kestrel sitting on a branch. Maybe others who are entering might like to post their entries here too?

Pat: You should enter 1 or 2 of your pieces! I've entered the last 2 years and the submission process is a little different than most juried shows. You have to format your digital entry per the CAFE website instructions, then load it onto their site and eventually apply to the particular show you want (in this case the 20th Annual CPSA Exhibition). If you go to the CPSA's website (cpsa.org), you can download the prospectus for the show and it will give you all the info you need to enter. I have noticed, however, that most of the pieces that get into the show are either Still Life or Portraits, and not many animal/wildlife pieces make it in.
