Hi. My first post on this forum.
Quick sketch from recent holiday at the magnificent Golden Gate National Park (South Africa).
With the approaching rain and afternoon setting sun, the usual “gold” colouration was strangely and intensely blue. To capture this I had to work quickly – hence the small size. The rain is very precious to us in S A. Also suggested are the ubiquitous poplar trees which are used by farms as windbreaks.

As long as there is light, I will paint it.
