Use to denote nudity/mature subject matter Wave Dancer

Assorted graphite, 8"x12" - a preliminary step and the final drawing - this was a drawing I'd intended to be a sketch, and then decided I'd like to see it drawn out (the first image is from an iphone happy-snap, the second from a scan).

Nice to see the changes, lovely as always!
The foreground details really move.

Re: Wave Dancer

So lovely and fluid. She's delicate and strong at the same time. I love it!

Re: Wave Dancer

Hi Dianna The waves were interesting to work on. I want to get into the depth and movement, but keep running into the fact that I’m drawing a surface and a moment, if you know what I mean.

Thanks Virginia I thought of beautiful joy filling deep, strong peace. There’s times when drawing it’s almost like hearing music. I wonder if composer types have visuals when they work the notes. The fact my work seems full of tones n such I find pretty cool
